Meet rodney

Hello, my name is Rodney. I am an Army veteran who proudly served as a Military Working Dog Handler. During my time in service, I discovered my passion for training dogs and enhancing their performance, as well as teaching others these invaluable skills. Over the years, I served as both a Narcotics and Explosives Handler and a K-9 Instructor and Trainer. Training others to work with dogs became a deep passion of mine, and I found I had a natural talent for it.

After honorably separating from the Army, I decided to carry my passion into civilian life. I had the privilege of training and leading teams with bed bug detection dogs, security dogs, and pets. Recognizing the impact I could make, I was inspired to establish my own dog training company—Train To Sustain.

At Train To Sustain, I am committed to providing top-quality dog training for pets and their owners. Each dog receives the individualized attention needed to achieve obedience and behavior goals, ensuring they become exceptional companions. Just as importantly, I focus on clear and concise communication, ensuring that both the dog and the owner fully understand each step of the training process.

I approach every dog I train as if it were my own, instilling the structure and guidance needed to fit seamlessly into their owner’s lifestyle. It brings me immense joy to help dogs and their owners build lasting bonds through effective training and mutual understanding.
